Who: The little dudes, their Grandma.
Why: They are treasured.  My mama is the best one that I know.  If I can give my boys just a bit of what she gave me; beyond all else, they will know they are loved.

First seen on Girl's Gone Child, a blog I often read.  The way she talks about her children and her life is so honest.  I find her truth refreshing. 

My mother-in-law: July 13

Who: My husband's mama, a lovely woman of great strength

Why:  Because she is a big fan of dessert. Also, I believe that dessert can help get anyone through anything.

Who: My sons.
Why:  We were apart for a bit while I was on a trip.  And I was reminded, on my return, how they truly are my smiles and my giggles.

Who: That doctor sister of mine. 
Why:  Because it has been a long road.  She deserves a toast to forever happiness. And a long vacation.

Who: A mama friend of mine, whose second baby is due very soon

Why:  I wish for her an easy delivery before her date, a healthy beautiful baby boy and a fast recovery with plenty of pampering.

Who: My two small dudes.

Why:  I will be away from them for one week starting tomorrow.  Actually, it will be one week minus one day.  Actually I will return after their bedtime on the sixth day so.... one week.

Who:  The fine gentleman on the World Cup teams
Why:  Not since the Olympics have I seen a sport played with such passion.  These guys are playing with all their hearts.  They are leaving everything on the field.  They are playing for pride, for their countries.

Who: My dear sister
Why: Because she is strong and beautiful.  Like a tree.  And I would adorn her wrist with this bangle so that she might never forget.
